Since the Affinity suite is on sale right now and they're having an extended trial period, I decided to give it a go and see what the hype is about. With Adobe's AI practices, I often see Affinity mentioned as a replacement for Adobe products. So far, they do seem to be good products. I've found myself using Affinity Designer more than I imagined I would. I don't have much experience at all with Adobe Illustrator to compare, but from what I can tell, Designer is pretty good. Though I would recommend you save often because it has crashed on me multiple times while working on stuff. Working between Affinity Designer and Painter is pretty smooth. I like I can copy and paste between the two while keeping layers intact. It helps when I'm painting a NR2003 car and I'm using logos I've either downloaded in vector format or made myself in Design. And since I've always made vector logos in Photoshop, learning how to do them in Design is a blessing. So much easier and better. Affinity is likely to have a new customer soon. Just gotta save up for the programs. Now, with all that said, here's some of my works with Affinity Designer. The NR2003 logo is available over on Stunod's, NR2003 Logo Link
