Site Rules

• Staff decisions are final. Ultimately, staff has complete discretion over what is and is not acceptable on the site.
  
• Public discussions of staff decisions are not permitted on the site. If you have any concerns or queries relating to a staff decision, please take it up in private with a member of the site administration team.
• All members must be treated in a respectful and adult manner. All members should respect and adhere to the promotion of harmony within the community. Do not attempt to disrupt the community in any way.
• No "Flaming". Please do not post any messages that harass, insult, belittle, threaten or flame another member or guest.
• No "Trolling". Please do not post any topic that disrupts the peace and harmony of this board. Don't create meaningless threads with the sole purpose of starting a dispute. This includes messages in profiles and signatures.
• No "Spamming". Please do not double post or cross-post the same message in multiple forums. You will not mass-PM or mass-email multiple members of this site with the same message. You will not post for the sake of increasing your post count or "install" count.
• No "Bumping" (Your threads/posts): Please do not repeatedly bump your threads to try and get attention. Most members of the site are not online 24 hours a day and so will not see your post the instant it is made. Do not bump a thread within 24 hours, and not more than twice a week.
• No Trading: The forums is not a market place. You may not sell or solicit to purchase any product or software anywhere on the forums.
• No affiliate links may be posted anywhere on racecarcentral.net nor be included in any attachments. Affiliate links are links with unique code to give you credit or financial gain when a user clicks on it. This includes not using "URL Shortening" for links to any sites with potential for affiliate credit.
• All posts, mods, and styles must be in English. If you do not speak English please use a translator before posting. Translation to other languages may be posted for mods in which the author has approved translations.
• No posting messages anywhere on this site that are primarily for the promotion or advertising of any website, forums, email address, business, MLM, activity, or other entities that you have an affiliation with (ie. no self-promotion).

Commercial/Paid Modifications

• Discussion of commercial 3d models is permitted on the forums at racecarcentral.net as long as they are discussed with no promotion. Any promotional threads will be closed and/or deleted on sight.
• Promotion of commercial 3d models is not allowed.
• Commercial 3d models authors are permitted to create threads regarding their own products but not to promote their products in any way, shape or form.
• Lite versions of commercial 3d models are permitted to be released here as long as:
  • It is a working 3d model.
  • It is completely free to the user.
  • It is stand alone and requires no additional material or scene setup.
  • A single link back to the commercial version is permitted, as long as no pricing or promotional language is used in the link or embedded into your post.

• Non commercial Race Car Central 3d model modifications that integrate independent commercial 3d models into them are permitted, providing the author does not make the file publicly available.
